Pay For Success

Social Finance, one of the first Pay for Success (PFS) intermediaries in the United States, is translating the concepts and practices underlying the PFS movement into broader lessons learned and practical tools to help drive alignment across the health and social service sectors. PFS is an innovative contracting model intended to drive government resources toward high-performing, evidence-based social service and health programs by using outcomes-based financing and tracking the effectiveness of services over time to ensure that funding is directed toward programs that succeed in measurably improving the lives of people most in need.
