Public Health National Center for Innovations

The Public Health National Center for Innovations (PHNCI) will advance the capacity, role, and value of governmental public health agencies in cross- sector alignment with social services and health care, as well as other sectors, to improve population health and equity. PHNCI will support the transformation of state public health systems to provide an equitable level of essential services to all communities in a state by advancing a state’s adoption of the Foundational Public Health Services model, including an emphasis on the capability to integrate an equity lens as a standard operating procedure.
